Electing Republicans, That's What We Do.

Former NCFRW President, Susan Mills, installs our 2018 officers
From left to right: Carole Samperton - Treasurer, Carol Ulrich - Secretary
Jackie Weyhenmeyer - President, Paulette Munson - Vice President.

From the President:

Happy New Year!

Itís hard to believe itís 2018 already. My wish for you and your families and for this country are to prosper and letís see our conservative values restored and for our country prosper as well.

We have a chance to make history in Cumberland County in 2018. We have Republicans running for the sheriffís office and for the clerk of court. We have never had a Republican hold either of those offices.

We need to strive to make America great again but we also need to make our local community and our state great again. Our local government impacts our daily lives and we need to make sure that we have conservative Republican candidates elected into our local offices. Thatís where I need your help. We, as a club, have a mission in 2018 to get our republican candidates elected.

This is your club. I welcome and I want to hear your ideas and suggestions for making the club better and making our community better. As your newly elected president, I want to involve membership in our decisions and have membership serve on committees .
Membership should be involved in the decision making of this club, not just the board members. And speaking of the board members, everyone is welcome to attend board meetings.

I already have speakers lined up and confirmed for the next three months. I wanted to make sure we had them in place so we can concentrate on other issues. One of the main issues that I would like to address is a new venue. I am looking for volunteers to serve on a committee to find us a new venue.

If you are interested on serving on a committee, please contact either me or our Vice President, Paulette Munson.

Our first meeting of the year will be on 9 January 2018, at the Memphis BBQ. Our guest speaker will be Jim Duncan. Many of you will remember Jim as a former congressional candidate. However, Jim is very involved with Heritage Sentinels. He will be speaking to us on this wonderful program and some of the great things that they do as a group. If you are familiar with the Heritage Foundation, you will want to hear what he has to say.

This is going to be a great year. I have a great board. We are going to grow our membership and make this the best club in the state. I look forward to seeing all of you throughout the year and working with you to elect Republicans.

I would also like to thank Mary Martin and Staci Chiomento, our past President and Vice President, for their hard work and dedication to the club in 2017.

Happy New Year!

Jackie Weyhenmeyer
